Drawing on the structural metaphors of humoral theory, his paintings appear composed of fluids, bodies, and spaces that juxtapose, absorb, or repel one another. Each field intertwines with the next, without discernible temporality, disrupting the balance between competing forces. This complexity blurs the
notions of interior and exterior, while a vertical and horizontal equilibrium maintains the body—and the spirit—of the work in an inseparable cohesion.
